Whether you like tea, or not we are pretty certain that you will fall in love with this beautiful tea party inspired wedding of Jemma and Mike. Every aspect of their rustic barn wedding was simply perfect. From delicate lace bridal dress and a wedding bouquet to romantic portrait photos and everything else in between.
There were plenty of beautiful flowers and floral arrangements used to decorate the barn, the church and surrounding areas. A cool wedding transport for the bride and groom – a green volkswagen camper van. An inventive step ladder table plan to direct the guests to their seats. Jam jars wrapped in lace and twine and filled with delicate pastel flowers. A refreshing lemonade available from drink dispensers filled with lemons and raspberries. The afternoon tea was served in style using vintage china tea pots.
But most importantly, everybody seemed to have a great time and certainly enjoyed a plenty of good laugh during the many wedding games provided – croquet, coconut shy, splat the rat, quoits, and every so popular space hoppers. And if you just wanted to escape from all the joy and relax for a little while, you could head over to the chill out area and sit down on one of the hay bales placed next to the trees decorated with votives and lampshades.
And of course, we musn’t forget about the romantic portrait photos of Jemma and Mike with the vintage bicycle and a gigantic balloon at the sunset. That’s one of our favorites.
